On October 11th we are hosting a fundraiser at Dough Religion here in Gainesville. All of the money we make that night will be going to Partners In Health. This charity provides medical care to poorer nations around the world.
On this night, we are focusing our relief efforts on the island of Haiti. Hurricane Matthew paved its way through the nation, leaving a wake of disaster in its path. They need all the help they can get to allow this beautiful nation to flourish once again.

Floridance:
Floridance is UF's original student-run dance company! All Floridance members have the opportunity to choreograph original work showcased in end of semester performances held at the Philips Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Florida campus. Additionally, we hold multiple open classes in a variety of styles that are free and open to the public. Floridance also participates in Community Service Events including Relay for Life, Dance Marathon, and The Salvation Army to name a few!

Be the Match on Campus UF
Be the Match encourages people to sign up for the Be the Match bone marrow registry. It takes about five minutes and it just involves filling out some paperwork (email, phone number etc) and swabbing the inside of your cheek to send some cells to get HLA typed. If someone is a match to a patient, they are often that patient's only hope at surviving and donating bone marrow now is just like donating blood.

Sabor Latino Dance Team is the official dance team for the Hispanic Student Association at the University of Florida. Sabor Latino above all else cherishes diversity and multiculturalism. With various styles from salsa to hip-hop, Sabor Latino encourages students from UF to express themselves through the art of dance. For over a century and continuing on, Sabor Latino will light up every stage bringing our Latin flavor wherever we go.

Founded 10 short years after the university’s integration, the Black Student Union was founded in 1968. BSU came about as a social organization and support system for Black students at UF. The organization grew into serving as a voice for issues affecting Black students on campus with the mission to provide a network for student organizations, while empowering students to impact our campus and community life. We strive to create, cultivate, and challenge the University of Florida and greater Gainesville community through community service, philanthropic ventures, entertainment, and quality programs. We aim to create an enjoyable college experience for all.
The Black Student Union is home away from home for many students on campus. Through 14 different cabinets and committees, such as the Leadership Development Program (LDI), F.E.M. Finesse Dance Team, Black History Month and the Florida Invitational Step Show (FISS), there is always a way to get involved. Remember, it’s just BS without U!
