Hello everyone! Thank you so much for showing interest in this company. Extreme has become a home for so many people, including myself. To anyone interested in finding a community of dancers that get together every week, to just enjoy the art of dance, Extreme is the place for you. In Fall 2013, my nervous self walked into a room surrounded by people I have never met. I was overwhelmed and anxious; completely unaware of the journey that was ahead of me. Fast forward three years later and now I'm the President of this amazing organization. I am so excited to spend the next year dancing with this family and getting to know each and every member. I am so hopeful for a positive and productive semester. All of us spending time giving back to the community and spreading the welcoming message that Extreme is founded on. We welcome anyone, with open arms, that walks through our doors. I cannot wait for that person to be you.

-I'm from Minnetonka, Minnesota

How long have you been dancing?
-I've been dancing for about 17 years

What are your hobbies outside of dance?
-Favorite hobby besides dance is hiking

Any other interesting facts about you?
-Picked UF because it has a good program for Criminology and it's a lot warmer in the winter here than in MN.

With auditions 3 days away, we're introducing our final 3 officers! To start the countdown off, here is Kelly Noble, a third year officer for Extreme.

What's your major?
-Chemical Engineering

What if your favorite tv show and/or movie?
-My favorite TV show currently is Girls and my favorite movie is School of Rock

What are your future career plans?
-I would like to be an engineer for a few years and eventually open up my own bar or bakery once I have the funds to do so

Any other interesting facts about you?
-I'm in love with my cat, his name is Dexter

Emily Bozigar is a returning officer for Extreme and has moved up to Treasurer!

How long have you been dancing?
- 18 years

What is your favorite tv show and/or movie?
- TV show: The Office // Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean

What is your favorite hobby besides dance?
- I travel a lot. I try to go somewhere new during every break!

Any other interesting facts?
- I've studied 5 foreign languages. (Don't ask me to speak any though LOL)

-Brandenton, FL

How long have you been dancing?
-I've been dancing since I could walk

-I enjoy socializing with those with special needs, helping them become more confident in themselves.

-I'm danced with my home dance studio at nationals this summer!

Why did you pick UF?
-I picked UF because I was inspired by my dad, who went to Uf also

What are you future career plans?
-Doing stats for NASA, SpaceEx, National Security, Broadway, who knows

-Parks and Rec

Any interesting facts about you?
-Extreme was my favorite part of UF last year. I'm so excited to be fundraising with my best friend, Ashlynn.

Megan Young is a third year officer for Extreme. Moving up from Costume Chair, to Fundraiser, and now Vice President.

How long have you been dancing?
- 12 years!

What is your favorite movie?
-Finding Nemo. Yes, I am a child at heart.

Why did you pick UF?
-Being a gator has been my dream since I was 10. I can't imagine a better school.

What are your future career plans?
-Going to medical school and becoming a pediatrician.

Why did you pick UF?
-My brother goes to UF and when I would visit him, I fell in love with the campus knowing I had to be a part of the Gator Nation.

- Hamburgers are the way to my heart (Actually, all types of food loz)

Hey everyone! So sorry for the complete lack of any posts in the last few weeks. There have been some issues with technology that I am trying to work on. Sorry again! We hope to be able to reach out again soon :)

Center splits. For those of us unfortunate few, the equivalent of getting teeth pulled. Many dancers are born with a hip structure that promotes a naturally gorgeous turnout. If you aren’t one of those people, be sure to stretch everyday; persistence is key! Remember, the more uncomfortable you are in a stretch, the more effective it is! Just know your limits and be careful to not push yourself to injury. Here are a couple stretches that you can squeeze in during any busy schedule.
